Job Description:
The Leon’s Learning Centre is pleased to announce that the full time position of Learning Centre Consultant, Western Canada is now available.
Interested candidates should possess the following skills/attributes:
-          Some experience in an Office or Customer Service environment; preference given to candidates with GERS/Escalate software knowledge
-          Existing knowledge of Leon's policies and procedures
-          Comfortable speaking in a classroom setting in front of several participants
-          Some training experience preferred
-          A willingness and ability to work days and some evenings/weekends plus travel with typical stays of 4-5 nights in a row, every 2-3 months
-          Travel will mostly include the Western provinces with occasional visits to Home Office
-          Mature team member with the ability to work independently
-          Confident, positive, motivated, enthusiastic
-          Excellent written and communication skills
-          Professional appearance and demeanor
-          Some knowledge of presentation and computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power-Point
 
The following is a brief job description:
-          Responsible for assisting with recruiting and applicant screening
-          Responsible for the delivery of training programs and courses
-          Assist in the research and development of training content and resources
-          Evaluate course materials; assist in the management and distribution of training resources
-          Manage large, diverse groups of adults in a learning environment
-          Participate in learning teams to develop and improve curriculum
-          Contribute to the success of the training and development team through recommendations to improve procedures and courses
-          Introduce new associates to the company and communicate with them throughout the probationary period and beyond; provide ongoing counsel, guidance and feedback
