EBA Engineering Consultants Ltd. (EBA) is looking for a
full-time Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer for our Calgary office. This
position offers the opportunity to join EBA’s geotechnical practice and work
with a large group of experienced engineers and technologists. The successful
candidate will work on a variety of geotechnical projects including foundations
and slope stability.
Currently, EBA’s geotechnical practice consists of a broad spectrum of projects
that include, but is not limited to, foundation investigations for commercial
and industrial sites, dam safety reviews, remedial dam repair work, slope
stability, highway embankments, bridges, shallow and deep foundation design, and
construction monitoring for various projects.
Job Requirements: Qualifications:
The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen interest in Geotechnical
Engineering and have a minimum of five years of related experience, preferably
in the consulting industry. As a minimum, the candidate must have a Bachelor's
degree in either Civil or Geological Engineering from a recognized university.
A graduate level degree in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred. Applicants
must be willing and able to work in the field, as well as in the office, have a
valid driver's license, and be eligible for registration as a professional with
APEGGA. Other qualifications include experience with client relations, project
management, and report writing.
