Main tasks: control of quality of the incoming and older logs— make log interpretations - build petrophysical models
Current tasks:
·Load raw logs at reception for quality control and environmental corrections if required; unload and replace with final logs at reception.Keep the log database clean and tidy.·Control the quality of the rush logs and keep contact with the Contractors for all corrections and until reception of the final logs for each well.Keep track of the Contractor performance in the company folder.Compute a rush interpretation and then the final one.·Make an interpretation of the current petrophysical parameters, porosity, Vcl/Vsh, Sw in Elan and in IP using SCAL data if available, or review later on when SCAL are available; otherwise use the field model.·Calculate permeability with neural networks.·Perform electrofacies and rock typing with fuzzy logics, neural network, with logs and core data.·Build and maintain field scale petrophysical models.·Map areal and vertical parametric variations (for example formation water salinity, permeability) in fields and between fields and link to the rock types, diagenesis, tectonic events, etc...·Bring support for core depth shifts.·Knowledge of logging tools other than the currently used ones in company; support GS in establishing the logging programs whenever needed; show knowledge of mud logs. Please send resume and expectation to:GeoSolutions CorporationSuite 610, 633-6th Avenue SWCalgary, AlbertaCanadaT2P 2Y5
